TVING’s “Beyond The Memory” confirms Shin Ha Kyun and Han Ji Min as leads!


TVING drama “Beyond The Memory” announces Shin Ha Kyun and Han Ji Min as leads!

On September 2nd TVING announced that the casting of Shin Ha Kyun and Han Ji Min are officially confirmed. They will be working with the director of  “The Book of Fish,” “Dong Ju: The Portrait of a Poet,” and “The King and the Clown.” 

“Beyond The Memory” will showcase the journey of a man who received a message from his dead wife to go to an unknown space to meet her. The drama is set in 2032 in the large city area of South Korea.

The said series will be a collaboration between two 57th Baeksang Arts daesang awardees. Shin Ha Kyun won the Best Actor Award while director Lee Joon Ik received the Grand Prize in the film category. 

Shin Ha Kyun will bring life to the role of Jae Hyun.  He is a reporter for Science M. He lives in misery because he can’t forget about his wife. He suddenly received a message from his dead wife to come and meet her. Han Ji Min will play the role of Yi Hu, the wife of Jae Hyun who died of cancer. 

“Beyond The Memory” will exclusively be available in the OTT platform, TVING. Filming of the drama will begin this year and it’s slated to air next year.

This drama will be Shin Ha Kyun’s next project after the hit series “Beyond Evil” with Yeo Jin Goo, Choi Dae Hoon, Kim Shin Rok, Choi Sung Eun, and Choi Jin Ho.  He will also star in the upcoming movie “Anchor” with Lee Hye Young, Chun Woo Hee, and Shin Hee Chul. 

“Beyond The Memory” will be Han Ji Min’s comeback to dramas since 2019. She last starred in “One Spring Night with Jung Hae In, Kim Joon Han, Im Sung Eon, Joo Min Kyung, and Song Seung Hwan. The top actress will also join the star-studded drama “Our Blues” with Lee Byung Hun, Shin Min Ah, Kim Woo Bin, Cha Seung Won, and Lee Jung Eun.
