Choi Tae Hwan is confirmed to join the upcoming tvN drama “Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi”
On August 19, it was confirmed that Choi Tae Hwan will be included in the cast line-up of the upcoming drama “Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi” with main leads 2PM’s Taecyeon and actress Kim Hye Yoon.
“Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi” will narrate the story of undercover royal secret agents who were given the job to expose all the wrongdoings and corruptions of public officials. The drama will be directed by Yoo Jong Sun (“Designated Survivor: 60 Days”) and written by Lee Jae Yoon (“The Undateables”). Studio Dragon and Mongjakso will work together to produce the drama.
Choi Tae Hwan will be playing the role of Park Do Soo. He’s the legitimate son of Jung Bo Seok’s character Park Seung.
Taecyeon on the other hand will play as Ra Yi Eon, the sixth class civil servant and also the youngest inspector. Kim Hye Yoon will play as Kim Jo Yi. A realist woman in Joseon. She is married to a gambling addict.
Other cast members of the drama include Lee Jae Kyoon, Jung Soon Won, Lee Sang Hee, and more.
“Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi” will air during the second half of 2021.
“Tale of the Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi” will be Choi Tae Hwan’s second drama for the year. He was also part of the 2021 KBS series “Hello, Me” starring Choi Kang Hee and Kim Young Kwang.
Choi Tae Hwan was also part of several dramas such as “Psychopath Diary,” “The Secret Life of My Secretary,” “Terius Behind Me,” “The Scholar Who Walks the Night,” “The Heirs,” and more.
